Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Guard to join our team.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Security Guard.
Must be a resident of Benin City or willing to relocate.
Strong physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods.
Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Proficient in basic computer skills (desired but not mandatory).
Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both indoors and outdoors.
Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities.
Control access to the premises by verifying the identity of individuals.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
