Our reputable Petroleum Marketing Firm is currently seeking a competent and experienced Regional Finance Officer to join our team in Benin City.

Responsibilities:
Manage financial operations for the assigned region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting principles.
Review financial statements and reports, highlighting any discrepancies or issues.
Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls and processes.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Manage cash flow and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Prepare financial analysis, including variance analysis and cost analysis.
Assist in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/HND) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the petroleum or energy sector.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
