Job Description

A hospitality firm is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Hotel Potter at our establishment in Benin City.

Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all hotel areas, including lobbies, corridors, and public spaces
Collect and dispose of trash and waste in designated areas
Maintain and restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials
Assist with room set-up and arrangement for events and functions
Provide assistance to guests as needed, including carrying luggage and delivering items to rooms
Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department

Qualifications:
SSCE or equivalent educational qualification
Proven experience as a Hotel Potter or in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment
